Mike is a relative "newcomer" to Yachats, but no newcomer to the Oregon Coast. He is a native, born to parents who graduated from Siuslaw High School. His Grandparents started the first phone service in Florence. Later his Dad worked for the lumberyard in Waldport after the war. Mike spent his early years traveling from the valley to the coast. " I have a real passion for "beachcombing" inherited from my mother and grandmother, it always feels like home to me to be on the beach!" Mike like his wife Wendy loves whitewater rafting, flyfishing, hunting and training his German Shorthaired Pointer. Mike's association with real estate goes back a long ways. "I started taking classes in Real Estate in the early seventies when I was building houses and used the knowledge to buy and sell my own investments, that kind of grew into a full time job. I'm learning more each day about the uniqueness of this market. I have over 11 years of sales experience in the Valley and have earned a great reputation with my peers and clients."
